On June 8th we participated in honoring our military and first responders at The Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Festival. A parade of our vehicles leading the way honoring those that have fallen and the MOJO Jeep club followed carrying some of our local veterans and behind them our first responders followed.

The parade started at the agricultural barns and proceeded around the race track in front of the grandstand.

We added a new piece of equipment to our shop the Ranger RS-500D spray wash cabinet manufactured by BendPak. Having the Ranger RS-500D allows us to steam and wash parts, transmission, engine blocks and more at 200 degrease. This allows us to get the parts squeaky clean. This helps in blasting the parts because all the grease and oil have been removed. When it comes to engine blocks it allows the block to be completely clean inside and out and insures the engine block is ready to be rebuilt.

On January 10th we added a new sandblasting unit to our growing list of new shop equipment. This blaster along with our Ingersol Rand 485 CFM air compressor allows us to blast the Jeep and parts much quicker and safer. The new Clemco Blasting System uses the power and air of the compressor to remove paint, debris, oil and grease. The unit also came with a helmet system that keeps the operator cool and keeps the face sheild from fogging up. This piece of equipment has been an asset to our shop.

Here at Specialty Jeeps one thing we take to heart is our veterans. We believe in taking care of those who served in our armed services and fought for our country and freedom. We purchased this deuce and a half and restoring it for our local veterans to use in parades and fundraisers. We are also restoring a fleet of military Jeeps and other trucks for our veterans to use and to have their own fleet of vehicles to enter in parades.
